Marinas & Speciality
Gulf Harbour Marina manages over 1,200 berths, multiple piers, facility blocks, hardstand areas, storage zones, staff areas, and contractor access points.

Each user group required different access permissions based on area, time, and duration. Access was previously managed using physical swipe cards, which were time-consuming to administer, costly to replace, and difficult to manage as berth holders, staff, contractors, and visitors changed. The marina also needed better visibility over access activity to support safety, security, and operational compliance.

The Inugo Solution

Inugo deployed a fully digital, cloud-based access management platform to replace physical cards and centralise control of all access points across the marina.

  • Mobile-based access for berth holders, staff, contractors, and visitors
  • Centralised management of all access points from a single dashboard
  • Remote access grant and revoke without physical cards
  • Real-time access visibility to support safety and operational oversight
  • Remote gate access for berth holders while within the marina
How It Works

Users are issued digital access credentials based on their role, location, and time requirements. Access can be granted, adjusted, or revoked remotely without issuing or replacing physical cards. All access activity is logged centrally, providing a clear audit trail across the entire marina.

How Berth Holders Use the Inugo App

1. Users download the Inugo app and register with their email address.
2. Vehicle license plate details are added within the app, with Bluetooth and mobile data enabled.
3. The marina team links the registered email address to the Gulf Harbour Marina network within Inugo.

Once connected, the app is used on site to access facilities, pier gates and ablution blocks. They can open the pier gate for their kids/friends/visitors without leaving their boat.
Car park barrier arms use license plate recognition cameras for automatic entry and exit.

This approach removes the need for physical keys or cards while providing a consistent access experience across the marina.
